The Product Book endpoint returns a point-in-time snapshot of the order book for a specific trading pair, showing the current aggregated bids and asks sorted by price. Each entry in the book represents a price level along with the total quantity available at that price across all resting orders. You can control how deep into the book you look by adjusting the limit parameter. This is a public endpoint — no authentication is required.

Examples

Response

The REST product book endpoint returns a one-time snapshot. If you need a continuously updated order book — for example, to maintain a local copy of all price levels in real time — subscribe to the level2 channel on the Coinbase Advanced Trade WebSocket API. The level2 channel streams incremental updates as bids and asks change, allowing you to reconstruct the full book without polling.
